With an annual capacity of 450,000 tons, Özmert Algeria delivers reliable and high-quality rebar production for the construction industry.
In response to growing domestic demand and regional infrastructure needs, Özmert Algeria commissioned its high-capacity rebar rolling mill in 2019. This facility, built adjacent to our modern steel plant that became operational in October 2017, boasts an impressive annual production capacity of 450,000 tons.
Using billets produced in our integrated steel plant, we manufacture high-quality ribbed steel bars suitable for a wide range of construction applications. The production process includes high-temperature rolling, controlled cooling, and precision surface treatment to ensure optimal product performance.
Our rebar products meet both national and international quality standards, offering excellent strength, ductility, and weldability. Available in various diameters and lengths, these steel bars are ideal for residential buildings, industrial facilities, bridges, and large-scale infrastructure projects.
The rolling line is capable of both hot rolling and thermo-mechanically controlled processes, producing according to standards such as TS 708, ASTM A615, and ISO 6935. Each batch undergoes rigorous testing in our in-house laboratories, including chemical composition analysis and tensile strength tests, before being approved for shipment.
